Hi, and thanks for visiting my website. I've been a registered massage therapist for over 20 years and am studying to become a Feldenkrais practitioner as well. My practice is based in beautiful Calgary, Alberta, close to Marda Loop and downtown.I'd like to acknowledge that these are the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut'ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
My passion is to help people find ease in their bodies and in the movements that are part of their daily lives. My therapeutic massage can help you with pain relief, dissolve tension, and assist you to get back to the activities that you love.
Through my deeper understanding of biomechanical principles, I approach each client with a unique and wholistic approach. I love sharing my knowledge as well as helping people get pain relief through touch and somatic movement therapy. It doesn’t matter if it is a recent, chronic, or long-standing situation. Nor does it matter if it is from a slip or fall, a car accident or surgery, arthritis, bursitis or just plain old aches and pains. My techniques range from gentle to deep pressure, fascial release, and mobilisations but never cause you any pain. I am working with your nervous system and not against it. My intent with each session is to relieve pain, increase your range of motion, and give you an opportunity to learn so that you can do things normally again.
I am currently following a four year program to become Feldenkrais teacher. The Feldenkrais Method has been instrumental in the longevity of my massage career and being able to do all the activities I enjoy. I look forward to sharing my learning with you.
